Job costing changes in TP

  • All the costs related to the job will be added to the job cost.
  • There are 3 new fields added to Job:
    1. Total Tasks cost: includes the cost for all tasks available under this job.
    2. Total Services cost: includes the cost for all requests (RFR- RFI- LS) created under this job.
    3. Total Expense cost: includes the cost of all other expenses add to the job.

  • The sum of all these 3 fields will be added to "Total cost main currency".
  • Job Profitability will be affected by the total cost for all 3 fields.
New widgets: -
    • Request for Resources
  1. You can check this widget in job full view.
  2. This widget will contain all requests created on this job (Requests from job- Requests from Task- Requests from RS).
  3. You will be able to check the cost for each request you're making from the widget as well. Also, the total cost for all requests will be available inside the job (Total Services cost).
    • Expenses
  1. You can add new Expenses from this widget by clicking on the Plus button.
  2. When adding new expenses, you will be required to add the Expenses name & its cost. Currency will be same the currency added on job.
  3. If there is extra comment you can add it to the comments section in the expenses screen.
  4. All the Expenses cost will be added to the job in the fields named "Total Expenses cost".

RFR cost calculation: -
    • RFR: The cost will be calculated based on the Number of required resources. Then final cost will be based on the number of attached resources on request. In case the number of attached resources is higher than number or required resources, we take the number of required resources (less number between both fields).
PS: the cost for RFR will never increase, after the PM saves the request.
PS: if there is no resource attached to request and request is closed, cost will be 0.
    • RFI: The cost will be calculated based on the Number of required CVs. If no CVs required, the cost will be multiplied by 1.

    • LS: The cost will be calculated based on Consumed time. Consumed time field will be automatically filled based on historical data. Also the Qualifier will be able to edit it (Increase or decrease) before marking the Request as Open.
PS: The LS request might increase before it's opened. The Maximum price for LS request I 16 USD, and minimum price is 2 USD. Once request is Opened, the cost for LS request will never increase.
    • In case the request status is Rejected or auto-cancelled. The request cost will be 0.

Allow Negative Profit: -
  • The PM might need to save job while it has negative profitability. In order to make this he must allow negative profit in one of these entities (Brand - Account - Job).
  • In case Negative Profit isn't allowed, the PM won't be able to save the action causing this negative profit and error message will appear. Actions like (Add RFR- Add task- Add expenses).
Allow Negative Profit on Brand: Only Brand Manager has access to check this box from Brand settings full view. This action will allow the PM to save the job & PO with negative profit across the whole brand.
Allow Negative Profit on Account: Only Account Manager has access to check this box on Account, from Account full view. This action will allow the PM to save the job & PO with negative profit across all jobs created under this account only.
Allow Negative Profit on Job: Only Account Manager has access to check this box on Job, from Job full view. This action will allow the PM to save the job & PO with negative profit on this specific job only.
